Nature of Services

Nextlayer Technology is a Bitcoin Lightning Network company. Our services facilitate instant Bitcoin transactions between users through the Bitcoin Lightning Network. Unlike traditional credit card processors, our system uses Bitcoin held in a digital wallet application (the Lightning Network) for instant transactions between nodes in a mesh-like network (“Platform”).

How Our System Works

To receive Bitcoin Lightning Network payments, users must host a node on their computer and have Bitcoin available for transactions in the Lightning Network.
We use our own funds to help merchants join the network, providing the necessary transaction rails without custodial issues.
Transactions are conducted directly between customers and merchants, with no control or chargeback capabilities from us, akin to cash transactions.

No Chargebacks

Due to the cash-like nature of Bitcoin transactions on the Lightning Network, chargebacks are not possible. Customers must authorize payments, and transactions cannot be reversed once completed.

Limitation of Liability

All information on the Platform is provided on the basis that any user (“You”) accessing the Platform undertakes the responsibility for the use of the Platform. All information provided on the Platform is subject to change without notice.
